The public debt is now approaching the symbolic threshold of 100 billion dollars at the official parity rate, indicate the latest figures released by the finance ministry for the month of September.
The internal debt thus increased by 3.2% to stand at 92.4 billion dollars, just like the external public debt which increased by 7.1% compared to September 2020 to reach 37.9 billion dollars.
The net public debt reached 87.7 billion dollars, also up 3%. The net internal public debt reached, for its part, 49.7 billion dollars.
