Lebanon still deplores 30 deaths following complications induced by the COVID19 coronavirus and 2,388 cases as the country of cedars celebrated Easter Sunday, marked by a 3-day confinement.

However, certain exemptions have been granted in order to allow the faithful to meet in places of worship with an authorization obtained via the IMPACT site on the condition also that the audience does not exceed 30% of the maximum capacity of the places and that the distancing rules are observed.

The day was also marked by the measures taken by the Internal Security Forces which issued tickets to people violating the confinement, in particular at the level of the corniche of Dbayeh or Beirut.

The ratio of positive tests remains high but decreases with the figure of 16.9 %.

No new figures have been given today concerning people hospitalized

Yesterday, 2,070 people were hospitalized and 914 people were in critical condition and 246 people placed on ventilators.

How many people have been vaccinated?

No vaccination was carried out this Sunday.
A total of 159,776 people received a first dose and 89,252 people received both doses.
