Lebanon deplores 33 deaths this Wednesday, April 7, following complications induced by covid19. 3,120 cases have also been diagnosed in the past 24 hours.
The number of people hospitalized returns below the symbolic bar of 2,000 cases on Wednesday, while the number of people who have received a first dose of vaccine exceeds for the first time the mark of 7,224 cases, a local record.

In total, 485,918 have been infected since February 21, 2020, the date of the discovery of a first case in Lebanon.
3,120 have been diagnosed positive so far.
The daily number of local contaminations is 3,101 cases. 19 cases from abroad were diagnosed.
The total number of people affected by the virus reaches 481,097 local cases and 4,821 cases from abroad.
33 deaths have therefore been announced in the past 24 hours. The total number of people who have died is 6,512 since the onset of the disease in Lebanon on February 21, 2020.
The ratio of positive tests remains high but decreases with the figure of 16.1 %.
1,987 people were hospitalized and 875 people were in critical condition and 249 people were placed on ventilators.

7,224 people have a first dose of vaccine today and 3,666 people have a second dose.
A total of 170,916 people received a first dose and 95,698 people received both doses.
