Lebanese authorities deplore 37 deaths following complications induced by the COVID19 coronavirus in the past 24 hours. 3,510 cases were also diagnosed.
The Lebanese authorities are also considering establishing a curfew for the entire month of Ramadan on the recommendation of the anti-covid committee due to the still high number of daily infections. The latter would therefore go from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What are the numbers of the day?
In total, 489,428 have been infected since February 21, 2020, the date of the discovery of a first case in Lebanon.
3,510 have been diagnosed positive to date.
The daily number of local contaminations is 3,467 cases. 43 cases from abroad were diagnosed.
The total number of people affected by the virus reaches 484,564 local cases and 4,864 cases from abroad.
37 deaths have therefore been announced in the past 24 hours. The total number of people who have died is 6,549 since the onset of the disease in Lebanon on February 21, 2020.
The ratio of positive tests remains high but decreases with the figure of 16 %.
1,967 people were hospitalized and 882 people were in critical condition and 239 people were placed on ventilators.
How many people have been vaccinated?
7,292 people have a first dose of vaccine today and 2,905 people have a second dose.
A total of 183,173 people received a first dose and 98,603 people received both doses.
