Lebanon deplores 40 new deaths of people infected with COVID19 and 2,323 new cases, while a second batch of 31,500 doses of Pfizer-type vaccine was sent on Saturday, February 20, 2021.
What are the numbers of the day?
A total of 353,371 have been infected since 21 February 2020, when the first case was discovered in Lebanon.
2,323 were diagnosed positive on that day.
The daily number of local contaminations is 2,299 cases. 24 cases from abroad have been diagnosed.
The total number of people affected by the virus is 349,338 local cases and 4,033 cases from abroad.
2,194 people are currently reported to be hospitalized and 930 people are in critical condition and 307 people are on respirators.

40 deaths have been announced in the last 24 hours. The total number of people who have died has been 4,297 since the onset of the disease in Lebanon on 21 February 2020.
The ratio of positive tests remains high with the figure of 18.7%.
