Lebanon deplores 60 deaths from complications induced by the coronavirus and 2,963 cases have been diagnosed in the past 24 hours. Among them, the leader of the Lebanese Forces, Samir Geagea and former Minister of Health Ghassan Hasbani .
This information comes on the eve of the 3-day confinement established by the Lebanese authorities in order to limit the number of contamination during the Easter holidays and Eid el Fitr.
What are the numbers of the day?
A total of 474,925 have been infected since February 21, 2020, the date of the discovery of a first case in Lebanon.
2,963 have been diagnosed positive on this day. 216 people have been re-infected with the virus in the past 24 hours.
The daily number of local contaminations is 2,962 cases. 1 case from abroad was diagnosed.
The total number of people affected by the virus reaches the figure of 470,212 local cases and 4,713 cases from abroad.
2,092 people are said to be currently hospitalized and 925 people are in critical condition and 253 people are placed on ventilators.

60 deaths have therefore been announced in the past 24 hours. The total number of people who have died is 6,346 since the onset of the disease in Lebanon on February 21, 2020.
The ratio of positive tests remains high but decreases with the figure of 16.6 %.
How many people have been vaccinated?
3,191 people were vaccinated for the first time and 4,761 people received a second dose in the past 24 hours.
A total of 157,999 people received a first dose and 87,702 people received both doses.
