The health ministry said PCR tests will no longer be mandatory for people vaccinated and wishing to travel abroad or return to Lebanon.

However, the PCR test is still mandatory for unvaccinated people over 12 years of age. It must be carried out at a laboratory certified by the authorities of the country of departure and must be negative. For diplomatic personnel, UNIFIL or persons under the age of 12, this test will not be compulsory.

In addition, passengers arriving in Lebanon will no longer be obliged to answer the questionnaire from the Ministry of Health as was the case until now.

In addition, from April 1, access to the vaccination process will be facilitated for a greater number of people. The Ministry of Health has indeed amended the list of people benefiting from Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines.
