Despite the arrival of a tanker, the Zahrani and Deir el Ammar power plants are shut down for lack of fuel. In question, the delay taken by the Bank of Lebanon to grant the lines of credit necessary for the unloading of the precious goods.

Electricité du Liban indicates that it will however attempt to continue local production at the level of the 2 power plants in a sequential manner, thus reducing production to 150 megawatts for 4 additional days.
