Marwan Habib, who became known to have sexually harassed many women in Beirut and Lebanon, was arrested in Miami, United States, where he currently resides.

He is said to be accused of attempting to rob and assault a tourist in a hotel and is the subject of several other complaints. After his appearance before Judge Marisa Tinkler Mendez, a prison sentence was filed against the now 32-year-old man.

According to the victim, the suspect jumped on her and tried to force her to kiss and touch her. For his part, he said he met the victim earlier in the night and went to his hotel without his permission.

For the time being, Marwan Habib is being held without the possibility of leaving on bail at the request of the authorities because of a defect concerning his emigration to the United States.

Marwan Habib, accused of already being a serial stalker in Beirut

Mar wan Habib has already been the subject of several complaints filed against him in Lebanon itself. He is said to have even followed several women in an attempt to obtain sexual relations with him, a behavior which many women in Lebanon complained about a few years ago, in the Hamra district of Beirut, located near the American University of Beirut and the Lebanese American University.

Several women had then shared conversations on social networks suggesting to meet them to obtain their favors.
According to some information, the man was also rife in Beirut nightclubs, where he had already been the subject of several reports.

Certain questions now arise in Lebanon for the victims, in particular on the fact that the latter was able to leave the country of the cedars despite the many complaints filed against him. If he was able to benefit from some support, they now hope that it will be quite another thing in the United States.
