The municipality of Jbeil / Byblos said it had succeeded in obtaining an unspecified quantity of fuel oil in order to deliver the pumps of the water distribution network to its inhabitants and those of its suburbs. The president of this municipality Wissam Zaarour indicates this procedure after the sharp rise in the price of deliveries by tanker truck and while the public electricity, necessary for the operation of these pumps is heavily rationed after the delay taken by the Bank of Lebanon to provide the liquidity necessary for the transshipment of fuel oil in favor of power stations.
