The Lebanese authorities indicate that only 3 deaths are to be deplored in the last 24 hours following complications induced by the COVID19 coronavirus. 137 cases were also diagnosed during this same period.
The Ministry of Health has indicated that a new Pfizer marathon will be organized this Friday and Saturday for people born before 1971 and already registered on the COVAX platform. This should be held in all Lebanese regions.
In addition, the chairman of the parliamentary health committee, Assem Araji expressed concern about the lifting of preventive measures against the disease by the population who no longer respects wearing a mask or distancing measures, while 92 countries report the presence of the Delta or Indian variant of COVID19. This one would be more than 60% more contagious than the English variant already at the origin of the last wave of deaths which mourned Lebanon in January and February.
