Lebanon: In the end, 230,466 people registered to vote abroad

The Foreign Ministry said the final number of people registered to vote in the parliamentary elections reached 230,466.

As a reminder, registration on the electoral registers for Lebanese residing abroad closed on Saturday 20/11/2021 at midnight. 244,442 Lebanese from abroad had then registered. A number of these registrations were rejected because « either of a double registration or because of the expiry of the legal deadline », specifies the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
