Beirut, June 30, 2023: APEX Holding launched a new real-estate project in Massa, Italy, under the name “Borgo Ducale”. The launch event was held on Thursday 29 June, 2023, at the Yacht Club, Zeituna Bay, Beirut, under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Amin Salam, Minister of Economy and Trade. The event was attended by key figures, namely Deputy Parliament Speaker H.E Mr. Elias Bou Saab, Dr. Pietro Enyard Political and Commercial Adviser of the Italian Embassy representing H.E the Ambassador of Italy to Lebanon, as well as many general directors, armed forces and security officials, in addition to political, diplomatic figures, and media representatives.
The event was presented by Journalist Rita Pia Antoun, who mentioned that it’s the first initiative taken by a Lebanese company to invest in a project of several millions of euros, located in a renown Italian city, namely Massa. She further cited the many strategic advantages of this city, noting that it is 40 minutes away from the popular city of Florence, and only 15 minutes away from Pisa city, famous for its leaning tower. In addition, the city of Massa is 5 kilometers away from the touristic area of Forte Dei Marmi, located on the Italian coast. Furthermore, it is characterized by an extremely strategic location, as it is easily accessible from several cities, such as Cannes, Monaco, Rome, Milano and others. Antoun also explained that the project will cover a built area of 6,538 sqm., on a property with a total area of approximately 11,500 sqm.

In his speech, Minister of Economy and Trade Amin Salam, Patron of the event, showed his admiration to the work and goals of APEX Holding, underlining the company’s efforts to support the Lebanese workers and architects, to offer them new work opportunities and employments, as well as to offer solid investment opportunities to Lebanese capitals in the EU. He also sustained that Lebanon wouldn’t have been able to be resilient amid the ongoing crises, without the initiatives such as the one launched today and led by the private sector, which is the pride of Lebanon, and without its significant responsibility and dedication to invest and revitalize the economy. He finally affirmed that “Lebanon is capable of recovering and succeeding abroad, and those who aim to prove otherwise are wrong. This project is the perfect example of what Lebanon is capable of achieving, and the country will come back stronger and brighter than ever, with the contribution of devoted citizens such as Hicham Jerdak, and companies such as APEX, and the Lebanese private sector”.
The event was concluded by a cocktail reception, especially marked by the performance of Artist Aline Lahoud, who offered a bouquet of songs in both Arabic and Italian.
