Many roads see their traffic cut off due to protests against deteriorating social and economic conditions.

In Beirut, traffic is blocked at the Abdel Nasser mosque on the Mazraa corniche. Aisha Bakar’s roads are also cut off from traffic.

Access to the capital is blocked at the locality of Naameh.

In northern Lebanon, access to bridges spanning the Abu Ali River is currently interrupted. The headquarters of the Qadisha electricity company is occupied in protest against the rationing of public electricity.

In southern Lebanon, the northern entrance to Tire is blocked. The roads in the town of Saïda have been cut off since this morning. Access to Elia Square is also prohibited by demonstrators.

In the Bekaa, generator owners have implemented electricity rationing and some of them have blocked certain roads.
