The Lebanese Army indicates that 10 soldiers were injured during the incidents which took place last night in Tripoli in northern Lebanon, during demonstrations aimed at denouncing the deterioration of purchasing power and the fall of the Lebanese pound against the dollar.

Nine soldiers were injured in the Al Talé neighborhood when young people on motorcycles threw sound bombs. 1 soldier was also injured at Place Al Nour by a stone throw, the statement said.

According to current reports, the demonstrations took place all night until early in the morning and were marked by shootings, throwing grenades and rallies, said a dispatch from the National News Agency. These incidents led the Lebanese Army to deploy massively in life and even send reinforcements.
