The General Directorate of Petroleum announced that the service stations closed to motorists despite having fuel reserves. It therefore calls on the security services to force these establishments to supply the market.
This information comes as 140 petrol stations out of the 10,000 in the Land of Cedars would have closed their pumps to officially protest against the incidents and clashes that would take place due to the current fuel shortage. Many establishments have since enjoyed the protection of the security services and the police in order to limit these incidents which left one dead in northern Lebanon earlier this week.
