The occupancy rate of 4 and 5 star hotels in the Lebanese capital increased sharply to 43.7% in the first 10 months of 2021, compared to 23.2% in the corresponding period of 2020.
However, this sharp increase is accompanied by a fall in the rates of 65.5% and now average 48 USD against 138 USD the previous year, just like the revenue per available room which drops to 21 USD (-35.1%).
