The evangelical cemetery of Ras el Nabeh was vandalized during the night of Thursday to Friday, we learned this Monday via a dispatch from the National Information Agency. Crosses and vases were thus destroyed, indicates Reverend Habib Badr, who strongly condemns this incident.

He also called for restraint and non-violence.

For his part, the Deputy Reverend Edgard Trabelsi stressed that many personalities including the former President of the Republic Ayoub Tabed, the composer of the national anthem Wadih Sabra are buried there. He called for the investigation of these degradations to be quickly concluded and thus avoid any new sectarian incident.
