Public administration unions called for a strike movement from June 30 to July 9 to protest against the deterioration of social and economic conditions and the deterioration of purchasing power.
The news comes as protests took place at the end of last week and the situation worsened further due to the fall of the Lebanese pound against the dollar. Thus, the Lebanese pound has lost more than 90% of its value against the dollar, leading many people to no longer be able to meet the basic needs of their homes.
