The president of the parliamentary committee, the deputy Assem Araji, estimated that Lebanon was heading towards a collapse of its health system because of the multiple crises it was going through, crisis linked to the emigration of doctors and nurses, but also linked to drug shortages including chronic diseases.
It is therefore a question of speeding up the establishment of a new government, notes the deputy in order to put in place the essential reforms and obtain international aid, considering moreover that at present, the rationing system could not be implemented due to lack of funding.
