“Women… I love you!”

New exhibition by Rebirth Beirut opens its doors to the public

With a sense of humor and out of the ordinary art, the artist Kareen Abdelnour portrays contemporary women in many shapes, mostly circular and multi-colored.

Her paintings add a touch of fun and joy to the woman she paints in all situations: at work, at the beauty salon, at the beach, in times of sorrow and times of joy, all under the title: “Women…I love you!” Or Femmes Je Vous Aime! 

The title sums up the painter’s passion for women who are the focal point of her  

Rebirth Beirut Association opens the exhibition on September 15 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM and receives visitors until September 24 inclusive from 3:00 till 7:00 PM at its cultural premises in Gemayzeh, Gouraud Street.

About the exhibition, the president and founder of Rebirth Beirut, Mr. Gaby Fernaine, said: “Our association continues to provide all that is new and creative to lovers of art of all kinds. Today is an opportunity to introduce people to the artist’s work. What we are doing aims at raising Beirut’s name as the capital of culture in the world.”

Part of the proceeds will go to support Rebirth Beirut’s initiatives which previously included a series of development projects such as the rehabilitation of the traffic lights in the capital, street lighting, road maintenance, and asphalting a thousand potholes, all of which contributed to alleviating the suffering of Lebanese people.
