In its latest report, Bank Audi indicates that 195,433 Lebanese nationals have emigrated since 2018, a significant figure induced by the economic and financial crisis that the country of the cedars is currently going through.

77,777 Lebanese have left since the start of 2021, a historic record, never before. involved, more than 82% of the population is living below the poverty line while many public services are now collapsing such as the medical sector where nearly 30,000 hospital staff, nurses and doctors – have left the country cedars for 2 years, according to sources close to the council of the medical order.

In addition to the hospital sector, Lebanon has gone through periods of shortages of drugs or even essential products such as children’s milk following the end of the subsidies that were until now granted by the Bank of Lebanon. Now, the majority of products, generally imported, have to be paid for at a high price.
