The Ministry of Health announces that 400 people have been diagnosed positive for covid19 in the past 24 hours. Two people have also died as health authorities fear a sharp rise in the number of deaths within 2 weeks due to the increase in the number of cases.
In addition, the Ministry of Health said it is organizing a Pfizer marathon for people aged 25 to 29 and registered before March 1, 2021 will take place from July 9 to 10 in the various vaccination centers.
The Lebanese authorities have also specified the measures that will be taken to try to contain the Delta variant in Lebanon while changes have been made concerning the measures implemented at Beirut international airport.
