488 cases and 1 death this Saturday while the authorities allow the vaccination of certain special cases

488 people have been diagnosed positive for the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, says the health ministry. 1 death is also to be deplored.

According to the latest report, the ratio of positive tests continues to increase sharply, as does the number of people hospitalized. Now, the appearance of a new wave seems more and more likely, confirm the figures. The situation could thus become critical from the first half of August when hospital sources recommend a new containment and the expansion of the quarantine list to new countries with regard to arrivals in Lebanon.

« Exceptional » vaccinations for equally exceptional cases

In a statement released today, the Ministry of Public Health also announced that it has made available forms to be completed according to specific cases. People making the request could thus be vaccinated within 48 hours.
