The Lebanese Army announces the arrest of 72 people as part of the dismantling of a human trafficking network probably bound for Cyprus.
A Lebanese Army patrol was able to intercept a boat on Tabarja beach off the Bay of Jounieh and arrested 40 Lebanese nationals, 32 Syrian nationals and 1 Turkish national.
These individuals were all brought before the competent judicial authorities.
