The incidents come as a meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council met on Monday and is expected to issue a statement that fully clarifies the Council’s position on the actions of the State Prosecutor of Mount Lebanon regarding the judge.
The latter, despite having been withdrawn from the file at the request of the prosecutor Ghassan Oweidat, also close to the Prime Minister designated Saad Hariri as the governor of the Bank of Lebanon, raided twice last week, the offices of Michel Mecattaf in the locality of Awkar.
