France and the USA will work together against the Lebanese officials at the origin of the crisis

In a short press release, France and the United States indicated that they had agreed to joint actions against Lebanese officials accused of being at the origin of the current economic and political crisis.

This statement was released after a meeting between Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian and his American counterpart Antony Blinken in Paris. The latter indicated that they knew who these individuals would be and indicated that they wanted to lead to the arrival « of real power in the land of cedars ».
